キャンドルスナッファーを初めて知ったのは、昔観たフランス映画のワンシーン。
マダムが蝋燭の火をスナッファーで消す姿は、美しく、凛としていて、私の心に衝撃を与えると同時に深い憧れを残しました。
息を吹きかけて火を消すときに漂う、祝いの余韻と煙のダンス。
そして、スナッファーで火を消したときに静かに立ちのぼる煙の舞い。
どちらにも決まりはなく、その日の気持ちで選んでいただけたらと思います。
火を消す行為は、明るい明日への小さな祈りでもあります。
そんな想いを重ねて生まれた、特別なスナッファーです。
パリを訪れた際に出会ったパーツに、エッフェル塔の模様のようなレースをあしらいました。
そして小さなサイズ感にする事で馴染みやすくお使い頂きやすくいたしました。


お手入れについて
蝋が付着した際は、冷えてから金たわしのようなものでやさしく擦ると落ちます。 強く擦りすぎず、丁寧に扱ってください。

素材について
持ち手部分の真鍮は手作業で曲げて制作している為サイズや形に個体差がございます。真っ直ぐな線ではなく、手曲げならではの風合いをお楽しみください。
ご自身でお好きな角度に曲げていただくことも可能です。（但し一度曲げたものを元に戻す修理はできませんのでご了承ください。）

I first learned about a candle snuffer in a scene from an old French movie.
The way a Madame extinguished the flame with a snuffer was so elegant, dignified, and striking that it left me in awe and filled me with admiration.
The breath that blows out a flame, leaving behind the celebration’s afterglow and a dance of smoke.
And the quiet dance of smoke rising gently when extinguished with a snuffer.
There are no rules — I hope you will choose the way to close the flame depending on how you feel that day.

Extinguishing a flame is also a small prayer for a brighter tomorrow.
This special snuffer was born from those sentiments.
The parts were found during a visit to Paris, adorned with lace reminiscent of the Eiffel Tower’s patterns.
By keeping the size compact, it is designed to be both familiar and easy to use.
Care Instructions
If wax adheres to the piece, wait until it cools and then gently rub it off with something like a brass scrubber.
Please handle gently without rubbing too strongly.
Material

The brass handle is hand-bent, so the size and shape may vary slightly.
It is not a perfectly straight brass rod, but rather has the unique character of hand bending — please enjoy its artisanal feel.

You may bend it to your preferred angle yourself.
(However, please note that once bent, it cannot be repaired back to its original form.)
